Stakeholders |
“Stakeholder” is a general term for any person or entity for whom the product is built. The client approves of the initial concept and of each piece or version that is developed.
This could be decision-makers within a company or organization, i.e., Business Owners, Managers, Executives, etc.
Note that the Product Owner is regularly sharing and adapting the product vision with stakeholders and expecting (and welcoming) their feedback. Changes in stakeholder needs, or strategies are to be addressed earlier rather than later. The stakeholder will most likely be the first to inform the PO of any important changes in the market that might require the product to change or be abandoned.
See the Product Vision page for more info on communication between the PO and stakeholders.
