As mentioned, the Product Owner is primarily concerned with representing the stakeholders in negotiating with the Development Team to build a product in the most efficient way possible, based on Scrum/Agile principles.
Before that process can begin, however, the PO must insure that the product to be built is strategic and well-defined. This section will focus on three necessary components of the product concept:
Product Vision
A map of the overall problems the product aims to address what functionalities the product will have to solve them
Product Users
The people who will actually use, and benefit from, the product
User Personas
Stereotypical characters visualized to represent the full range of product users
